Our World

The planet Earth is our world. Beautiful landscapes, extensive oceans and huge mountains are some gifts from our planet that we, humans, are daily destroying it. Just think about how perfect our world works, in every scenario, how animals immigrate depending on the season, how plant does not even move but they are living beings. Think of every process that every living thing need to go through to survive, how animals eat each other to maintain an ecological balance. It is impressive the many planet that actually exists but we live in this one in specific. That is the main reason why we, humans "thinking animals", have to reduce the contamination , water pollution, and air pollution. Unconsciously or not , we are the main and only one killer that  keeps doing more harm to nature. Politicians are forgetting that power is meaningless without home, our planet.

One of the biggest problems is the carbon dioxide emissions. Last week two of the biggest carbon dioxide emitters countries made a historic climate change agreement, "China and the United States have the largest economies and the highest manufacturing outputs in the world, so it probably isn’t too surprising that these two countries also top the charts in carbon emissions as well. In 2008, these two countries accounted for 42% of all carbon emissions in the world..." " While this might sound incredibly ambitious and has already drawn the ire of some of Obama’s political opponents, many of the necessary policies are already in place and making an impact. The U.S. was responsible for over 7,250 million metric tons of CO2 emissions in 2005, and has reduced that number to 6,525 million metric tons in 2012—a 10% decrease. Political hissy fits aren’t likely to interfere with this goal or current progress." The United States government thinks that this is a good change, but is not! They need to do more effective and drastic changes to reduce this amount of CO2 emission.
